For Sale- This powers up and works to some extent but has a loud hum.  The volume of the hum does not change when you turn the volume knob up or down- always stays the same.  I believe this indicates a power capacitor that needs replacing.

The radio can tune in some stations but they are just barely legible.  Volume control does work to some extent as does the tone switch.  The record player spins up and all 4 speeds appear to be working correctly, however no audio output when a record is played.  Oddly the tonearm does seem to get a response from the amp section when you tape on it, so not sure what is up with that. The auto features of the record player don't work at all- nothing happens when you push the "reject" lever.   There is a needle and stylus- looks like the original Astatic flip type LP/78  stylus (included but probably worn out) was replaced with a single sided LP stylus.  Condition of stylus and cart is unknown.  Cabinet shows some minor wear, not too bad.  All dials are original, not a lot of wear on faceplate, record player platter "fur" is in poor shape.

Did not open this up but am assuming all the tubes are in there.  According to the back there is a 12AT6, a 12BT6, a 12BE6, a 35WR, and a 50C5.

Send your zip code for ship cost- should be between $11.95 and $29.95 if you are in the continental USA (Nov. 2012).
