For Sale- One pair rare tested and working 1990's Advent Prodigy Tower 2 way floor speakers. Made in the USA.
Brand new foam surrounds have been professionally installed on the woofers and they should be good for another 20+ years. Sound quality is excellent with excellent bass when tested at all volume levels. All four drivers are original and in mint/near mint shape- tweeter domes are perfectly rounded and woofer cones are in good shape with no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing. Cabinets show very little wear, grill fabric has a few small marks that may clean up, no rips or holes. Very presentable in my opinion.
The cabinets measure approx. 28 1/2" x 14" x 9 1/2". Made between 1992-95 and listed for $350 per pair. They feature an 8" long-excursion acoustic suspension woofer that generates the accurate controlled bass that Advent is famous for. A 3/4" fluid-cooled soft dome tweeter is positioned at ear level to give open spacious sound with super imaging. Solid pecan (not veneer) tops and front piece.
Frequency Response: 45 - 23kHz +/- 3db. Handles up to 75 watts continuous power.
