For Sale - This listing is for a tested and working two piece radio and amp chassis removed from a vintage 1960's floor console.

From Admiral Y6091 console. Amp chassis is 3PA7B, tuner/preamp chassis is 9M1A. Uses 12 tubes. Sounded OK in the console but could get a little distorted if turned all the way up- no excessive hum or static. Drove two 12" woofers and four tweeters. Good AM and FM reception. Stereo indicator light is good. Volume, bass, treble, and balance controls working as expected.

All the tubes are labelled Admiral. As far as I can tell there are two 6BQ5, 1 6CA4, 2 6BA6, 1 12AX7A, 1 6AY11, 1 12AU7, 1 6AU6, 1 6BE6, 1 6C9, and the Magic Eye tuner tube. Magic Eye appears to be working correctly. Some wear on faceplate. Dial tuner works well. All knobs included. Amp chassis has two RCA inputs, 4 wires on a removable plug that hooked up to left and right speakers, and a power indicator light on removable plug- needs new bulb. Crossover caps and internal/external/both speaker switch included. Inputs on tuner/preamp chassis for phono. One wiring harness/plug attaches the two together. Uses standard 120vac house current.

Sold as-is but described as carefully as possible. Might be good for guitar amp modification, hi fi, etc.

Email me your zip code for shipping quote - should be between $12.99 and $25.99 if you are in the U.S. (March 2013).
