Tested and working high end Sony audio rack component system and massive Technics speakers with 15" woofers.  Made around 1989.

Includes original remote control, all wires/hookups, AM antenna, FM antenna, all manuals, and rack with tempered glass door.

  • Amplifier:  Sony TA-AX390.  135 watts RMS per channel, 8 ohms.  5 band equalizer.  6 bar power level graphic display. Excellent sound, mint or near mint shape, no issues.
  • CD Changer:  Sony CDP-C401. 5 disc carousel.  Includes transport screw for shipping or storage.  Mint or near mint shape, works 100%.
  • Turntable:  Sony PS-LX110.  Good needle, no skipping, no hum. Full auto start and stop.  Mint or near mint shape, works 100%, excellent sound quality, no issues.  Did not come with dust cover but lid on rack and glass door help keep dust out
  • Tuner:  Sony ST-JX390.   Mint/near mint, works 100%, excellent stereo reception with included antennas.  30 station memory
  • Dual Cassette Player:  Sony TC-W390.  Both decks working 100% on all features, excellent sound quality.  Deck A has some audible motor noise when playing but still sounds good and noise won't be noticeable over music playing.  Mint/near mint shape, good tape counter, good level meters
  • Sony Audio Rack:  SU-S590.  Good shape, very little wear, door works fine.  With instructions for assembly/dis-assembly, extra screws and hardware
  • Speakers:  Massive Technics SB-K940 also probably from the late 1980's.  15" woofers have JUST BEEN REFOAMED in 5/2013 and should be good for another 25+ years.  Deep deep bass, three way system, excellent sound quality.  Rated 160 watts each, 8 ohms.  Good match for this systems.  Grills are solid but fabric does show some wear.  Minor wear on cabinets.

Much nicer and higher quality then a lot of the Sony component systems being made today.  The Technics speakers are an upgrade from the original Sony speakers that came with this system that only had 12" wooofers and were much smaller.  You don't need a subwoofer with this system in my opinion.  Best for Rock but will work well with all types of music.

Due to size and weight considerations this item is for local pickup only - sorry  (listed May, 2013).
