Just cleaned and demagnitezed the three ferrite tape heads. Works well and has good sound quality. Not much wear. Dual backlit analog VU meters are working correctly. Tape counter is working. Tested on Play, FF, Rewind, Record, and Pause- all work correctly Dolby FM decoder, adjustable bias and EQ controls, dual output level controls, front 1/4" microphone jacks. Memory, Limiter. de Emphasis switch on back. Heavy and high quality construction.
Only issue I could find that when you push the eject button the door sometimes opens only a little then stops. Sometimes it opens correctly with a slow damped movement, sometimes it springs open quickly, sometimes you can press eject 20+ times and the door will not open all the way. May be an easy fix but can't say for sure.
