For Sale: Classic Yamaha sax appears to be in good playable condition. Made in Japan probably in 1974.
Lots of cosmetic wear to the finish but looks free from any damage or major dings. Pads all look to be in good shape so are almost certainly newer replacements. Cork in good shape- looks like it may be been replaced too. Appears to have been carefully maintained over the years. Mother of pearl inlays over the keys all looks to be in good shape. Includes cleaning cloth and mouthpiece cover, a box of reeds, and case- case shows minor wear but good latches, no issues. Mouthpiece is marked YAS-L1 and assume it's an original Yamaha mouthpiece. Serial number looks to be 010082 which should date this sax to 1974.
I don't really play any wind instruments but was able to play most of the notes on this without it squeaking/squealing on me. Being sold as is but described honestly and carefully- local pickup and careful testing by expericenced player is highly recommended if that's an option.
