For Sale: Legendary DA speakers in great working condition.
Down firing 8" woofer was refoamed in 7/2015 and should be good for another 20 years or more. Sound quality is excellent, speakers are all original, and there are no issues. Nice cosmetic condition except for the front surface cabinet foam (meant to prevent audio slapback) is in poor shape in spots as seen in photos. This is a common problem with these speakers. Does not cause any issues with the sound quality and as long as you keep the grills on will never be noticed.
The mid/woofer has a rubber surround which will never need replacing like foam surrounds eventually do. Mids and tweeters are in mint shape, domes on tweeters perfectly rounded. Cones on drivers have no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing. The 8" woofers can't be seen in the photos but they are also in great shape, no issues.
