For Sale: Tested and working pair of high quality floor speakers. Made in USA around 1965.
Speakers have excellent sound quality and no issues. The tweeters were changed to a pair good quality 1960's alnico cone tweeters which sound great, rest of the drivers are all original and in good shape. Woofers have inverted textile surrounds which will never rot or need replacing like foam surrounds do. Cones on drivers have no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rub.
Cabinets are heavy and well constructed. They show some wear in places but no major issues. Grill frames are solid, originally they were nailed into place but are currently left loose, you can nail or screw them into place if you want. Original metal XP-9 speaker badges and Fisher Heritage badges are included. Grill cloth in good shape. They measure approx. 24.5" x 14" x 12.5" each and about 38 pounds each before packing.
Original tweeters were cloth dome style and appear to be the same type that was used in the much more common XP-7/7b models so if you wanted to bring these back to original formation you should be able to find a set.
