Athearn SW/1500 - COW CATCHER LOCOMOTIVE - ho, for parts/repair

For Sale: HO scale diesel switcher and transfer locomotive.  This is new, complete and unused. Wire rail parts still in bag. Includes original assembly instructions. Box says Souther SW-1500 RTR Cow 4004 1098

I tested by applying power to the wheels and nothing happened. Took the top off and see the ferrite magnet around the motor has disintigrated and looks very strange. Motor is jammed. Sold as is for parts or repair.
