I did not get a remote control with this unit- you can purchase original or compatible remotes on eBay and elsewhere usually between $20-$40. I used a programmable Harmony remote control to access the on screen menus (see photos) to on screen stuff was working correctly.
Fully tested and works 100%. All speaker outputs tested good. All controls working correctly. Bright display is dimable for night use. All four HDMI video inputs tested good. Phono and CD inputs good. Excellent FM stereo reception. Receiver shows very little wear- worst of wear is a very small amount of paint loss on the top.
Also have available separately a Sony DMP dock and a Sony calibration microphone which will work with this receiver.
