Sears model 132.2285 - SHORTWAVE RADIO - 9 bands, 1970's, works

For Sale: Tested and working classic shortwave radio.

Gets good reception on AM and FM bands. I was able to pick up a few transmissions on the SW bands as well. Good sound quality, all controls appear to be working correctly, good meter, good tuner.

Shows some cosmetic wear and originally came with a large flip up cover- think it looks better without the cover though. Battery compartment has a metal terminal piece that has oxidized but it's not the terminal piece that connects either the + or - to the chassis so shouldn't be too hard to replace if you want to use with batteries- see last photo for details.
