For Sale: Lgendary Magnavox/Philips CD player.
The player works well but the CD tray door no longer opens when you press the Open/Close button. You can manually get it to open if you take the top of the case off and turn one of the gears just a little bit when pressing the button. Works every time. Closes correctly and quickly with another press of the button.
Shows very little wear. Reads discs quickly and has excellent sound quality. All controls and disply working correctly. Perfect sound quality, no skipping. Has standard line level RCA outputs and also a digital output which has been tested and works correctly. There are hookups for Magnavox remote control system too. Large display with index feature and program capability. 16 bit, 4x oversampling.
These classic 1980's CD players are prized by audio enthusiasts because of their reliability and transport mechanism. They are often used with the digital output which bypasses the onboard D/A converters.
