The sound quality is very good thanks in part to the bass port on the back. Excellent AM and FM reception- includes FM wire antenna and AM antenna has built in option. Good display, good alarm, all controls good, no issues. There is an 3.5mm aux. input on the back for connecting MP3 player, phone, etc.
