For Sale: Deck A works great on playback. Excellent sound quality, good auto reverse, all controls good, tape counter good, level meters good, no issues. Reliable.
Deck B usually works fine on playback although when I first tested would switch back and forth between autoreverse automatically for no reason. When working has good sound quality, FF good, RW good, etc. I tried dubbing from deck A to deck B tape record at both high and normal speeds. Sometimes it worked fine and sound quality of recording was good, sometimes one channel was recorded at a lower level.
Bottom line is this should be a great deck for playing back tapes from A deck or transfering to a PC to digitize, or dubbing to another tape deck. Since deck B has intermittant issues not sure you will be able to dub or record with B although I think you will be able to play back tapes from B without major issue. Priced accordingly.
Features Dolby B, C, HX Pro. Bias fine, timer, Reverse mode relay play. Wireless remote capable. Some minor cosmetic wear and a ding on top of case but not bad. Tape heads and paths just cleaned and demagnetized.
