Silvertone 1967 Harmony H604 - PARLOR GUITAR - w/case, very nice shape

$120.00

For Sale: "Closet Queen" condition....

Neck appears to be very straight and action is pretty low all up the fretboard. Solid birch construction. Original bridge in good shape. Top is nice and flat, no bulging or issues. Tuners in good shape.

The lettering inside is hard to read but am pretty sure it says 5-67 Made in the USA in the green print and inside near the neck joint looks to say 7723 H604. Believe it's a Harmony H604 made for sale by Sears under the Silvertone name. Looks all original with no damage or repairs. Overall the finish is quite nice for 57 year old guitar with some small surface scratches and a little wear in places to the white paint "binding". The white could be touched up easily if you want. Neck joint is excellent. Don't see any fret wear.

Original chipboard case shows a little wear, works great, good latches.

It had nylon strings on when found (the E and A were metal wound) but a few strings were missing so I bought some extra light steel strings for it. Very easy on the fingers. You may want to use nylon strings instead for a more "folky" sound.

I think but am not positive the following info is correct:
