The Japanese made Audio Technica AT2500 phono cartridge needs a new stylus- they can be purchased online and are not that expensive. Or you can purchase a new cartridge if you prefer. The belt is working but looks like it's just a blue rubber band of some kind. New belts for this model are about $10 with shipping included online.

Plinth is high quality wood veneer has some minor wear of you look for it. Dust cover doesn't have any chips or cracks, minor surface wear only, can be buffed out. Dust cover hinges are in good shape and will keep the cover upright when open. The turntable is a semi-automatic model which means to play an album you manually move the tonearm over to the first track of the record. The table will power on and the platter will start spinning. You press the cuing switch and the tonearm gently drops and plays until the last track, at which point the tonearm automatically raises up, returns to the holder, lowers, and the table powers off. Works perfectly ever single time during testing. No issues. This model has a built in stylus pressure gauge which works well and is easy to adjust weight.

The speed switches between 33 and 45 RPM correctly. Without the stylus it's difficult to tell how accurate the speed is but am sure there is a way to adjust it if needed.

Under the center of the platter there is the remnants of some old foam that was probably to help with vibration resistance. You can leave it as is, remove it, or remove and replace with some new foam of your choice. Removable headshell sled makes it easy to change the cartridge and stylus.
