Battery is newer replacement and is holding a good charge. AC adapter/battery charger is the original Dell charger and works well. Windows 7 is installed and all security patches and updates as of 8/2013 have been downloaded and installed. Optional Spanish language pack has been downloaded and can be set up for Spanish users with a couple mouse clicks. Microsoft Security Essentials Anti Virus is installed. Creative WebCam Suite is installed and so is the software for the (optional) fingerprint reader security device. Wifi reception and transmission is excellent.
This model also has option for cellular modem and has a SIM card slot.
