For Sale: High end audiophile quality stereo speakers made in the USA.
One speaker cabinet has some cosmetic scratches and dings but both are 100% solid. Metal grills in pretty good shape. All four drivers are original and in mint or very near mint shape. Woofers have rubber surrounds which will never rot and need replacing like foam surrounds eventually do. Cones have no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing. The tweeter domes are both perfectly rounded.
The sound is very very high quality. I suspect these actually were meant to be used as monitor speakers in some studios because they are "uncolored" and seem to have more of a flat frequency response then most home speakers I have come across. The bass response is excellent but is more "tight" rather than heavy like a lot of decent speakers put out. Cabinets are heavy and high quality manufacture. Metal grills with dust filter backings look good but the speakers look even better without the grills on at all in my opinion. 4 ohm nominal should work fine with most 8 ohm receivers. Probably rated around 100 watts per speaker. Probably made in the 1980's. Gold plated speaker terminals.
