The Kenwood DT-7000S brings the incredible variety and crystal-clear digital quality of SIRIUS programming into your home. Just connect it to a receiver, amplifier, shelf system, or a pair of powered speakers and you'll have SIRIUS right at your fingertips. (A SIRIUS antenna is not included — you'll need to add one to your order.)
Designed with convenience in mind, the DT-7000S offers four nameable banks of presets. Each bank can store up to 20 channels, giving you incredible flexibility in organizing your favorites. The jog dial on the top right of this unit lets you easily scan through all SIRIUS channels or just your presets. The jog dial on the top left lets you quickly jump forward through the various SIRIUS categories — rock, country, jazz, news, sports, etc. You also get a 0-9 number pad on the front panel and on the remote, allowing direct access to your favorite channels.
The front panel features a big 4-line display that shows you song, artist, title, and channel information. Whenever you hear a tune that's worth remembering, just press the Memory button and the song title and artist name will automatically be stored for easy recall later (the memory bank holds information for up to 24 songs).
A compatible antenna and a subscription to SIRIUS are also required. (Satellite radio service is available only within the lower 48 states — not available in Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories.)
