For Sale: Selling a rare guitar in pretty nice shape. Made in Japan in the 1970's.

One of the many "lawsuit era" Japanese guitars and is well made with high quality materials. This was apparently a copy of a Gibson Les Paul Jr. Serial number 001118. Neck looks nice and straight, action is low, stays in tune. Strings are new Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 10s. Plays very nice. I doubt it's ever been professionally set up so having that done may make this an amazing player.

4 bolt neck with bolts accessible from the inside underneath the neck pickup.

Pickguard has disintegrated like I think all them did on this model guitar due to the material they were made out of. Have left the two little pieces that remain attached to the guitar so you can see the type of original material. All the original pickguard screws are still in place. You can see very faint outline of the shape of pickguard on the body so you should be able to make a template, if you look at online photos of this model you will see shape and as far as I can tell they are all custom made replacements.

Pickups are original P90 and they both sound great. Volume controls, tone controls, and pickup switch all working well. The little white plastic cap on the switch is damaged and should be replaced or repaired with some glue.

Some wear to the finish of the guitar as shown in photos, otherwise nice condition

The hard case which is included is only good for storage, shows a ton wear, bad hinges, missing latches, etc.
