Pioneer PL-340 - STEREO TURNTABLE - record player, new stylus, working 100%

For Sale: Cleaned, tested, and working well classic semi auto turntable. Made around 1983 in Japan.

Includes a new in box Swiss made Pfanstiehl needle used for about 5 minutes during testing. Sound quality is excellent full range with no hum, distortion, or skipping.

The turntable shows just a small amount of minor cosmetic wear. Dust cover has some small scuffs etc which could probably be bugged out to look near new again. Good hinges will hold it up in place when opened. Belt is in good shape and speed sounds dead on correct. Both 45 and 33 RPM speeds work correctly. Cuing button is working and lowers the tonearm correctly. Auto stop button when you press it while playing a record will raise the tonearm, automatically return it to holder, and power down.

This is a semi-automatic auto return turntable so to play an album you first make sure the cuing button is raised. Then you manually move the tonearm over the first track you want to play and press the cue button. The tonearm slowly drops and album begins to play. When it reaches the end of record the tonearm automatically raises up, returns to holder, and powers off. Works reliably.
